A unique, graceful weeping deciduous ornamental tree known for its long, pendulous branches and natural weeping habit with shiny, dark green leaves. Small edible berries are produced in late June and early July. Good for screening and is an eye-catching, talking piece in the landscape. Valued for elegant form, shade, and multi-season interest, it grows best in full sun and prefers well-drained soil. Minimal pruning is needed, mainly to maintain shape or remove dead branches.
