Offering strong growth and unique olive-toned foliage. In addition to its eye-catching good looks, it also delivers virtually carefree upkeep. Its large leaves are slender, creating an elegant weeping effect. Its multi-stalked, textural braided trunk sets it apart, making it a particularly interesting house plant. As with all living things, no two plants are alike and, therefore may not be exactly as shown. There will be some natural variation in size, shape, and characteristics.

  • Water: Water when the top inch or so of the potting mix starts to feel dry to the touch. They are quite resilient and survive with inconsistent watering, but grow best when they get moisture regularly.

Light: Grow in medium to bright light. If they don't get enough light, they'll grow slowly and have long stems, giving the plants an unattractive, lanky appearance. Will tolerate some direct sun on their leaves, so they're great choices for sunny areas.

This plant has a reputation for dropping a lot of leaves when it experiences a change in condition. So if your ficus loses leaves when you first bring it home, don't worry: It should regrow new foliage once it's adapted to its new location.
