Colourful spikes of Lupines are an unforgettable sight in the early summer border. Plants growowowgrow best in deep, rich soil, slightly on the acidic side. This midsized mixture produces flowers in pink, yellow, red, blue and purple, as well as lovely bicolours. They bloom earlier than some varieties and are shorter too. Beautiful masses and as a cut flower. As these are short-lived perennials, allow some plants to set seed. CAUTION: Harmful if eaten.
