The bulbs are round, medium-sized and solid with thin, delicate skin. The flesh is white, fine-grained and mild. An excellent direct seeding variety, as they mature very quickly.
Sweep Spanish Utah — Approx. 500 sds/pkt. Our best large onion – globular in shape with a mild, sweet taste. The flesh is firm, clear and tender. Under ideal conditions, these onions will weigh over 1 kg at harvest. Irrigation is often needed to maintain full bulb development. Light cultivation between rows throughout the season is essential to reduce competition from weeds. Long Day variety.
