Melts snow and ice faster than rock salt, magnesium chloride, potassium chloride, urea or blends of these products. Xtra85 produces heat upon contact with a snow and ice which speeds up the melting process even at temperatures as low as -30. Applied properly will not harm to vegetation. Used for ice control on roofs and some walkways* as well as dust control.
