Fabulous and flashy, Bird of Paradise! This large, upright plant brings a taste of the tropics to your home. Its glossy, banana-shaped leaves fan out and naturally split over time. Happily, this plant is relatively easy to grow indoors as it forgives missed watering and doesn’t require high humidity to thrive. Although it will not flower indoors, it is still prized for its amazing foliage and forgiving temperament. Water: This plant can only go 1-2 weeks without water so check on it weekly and add water every time the top two inches of soil dry out.
Light: This plant needs to live in a room with at least some natural light. Place it on a table or countertop with windows nearby.
Quick Tips: Keep it away from drafts. Hot or cold air can cause the leaf edges to turn yellow or brown.
